What we build for businesses here
Chicago is an operator's town. The businesses that make it work, distributors on the West Side, trade companies in the suburbs, manufacturers along the I-55 corridor, property managers downtown, the specialty grocers on Devon Avenue, all run on the same thing: a process somebody built by hand years ago and has been holding together since. A quote assembled in a spreadsheet. A schedule on a whiteboard. An approval chased over email. A month-end that takes a week because four systems disagree.
Custom software used to be the answer only for companies with a budget to match. That changed. Building software got cheap enough, because we build it with agentic AI tools under senior engineers, that work which was never worth automating suddenly is. Our whole model is built around that: we do not sell a platform or a transformation. We find one process, we build a working version of it in five days, we put it live for one team, and you decide from the result whether there is a second.
We know this works because we run our own businesses on it. Pharmacy Flow runs pharmacy fulfillment. ZeroFi matches homeowners to trade pros. AutoDoctors prices a car repair before the car reaches the lift. Moksha Coffee sells online, over the counter and wholesale from one ledger we built. Every one of those started as a single process that used to be done by hand.
How an engagement runs
- 1
A conversation, in person or on a call
You tell us which process everyone complains about. We ask how it actually runs, including the workarounds nobody wrote down. If it is not worth building, we say so.
- 2
A scope and a fixed price
One page: what the first release does, what it connects to, what it costs. Nothing starts until you have read it.
- 3
Five days of build
Day one maps the process and settles the data model. Days two and three build the screens and the automation. Day four runs your real data through it. Day five it goes live for one team, with the source code.
- 4
Then it is yours
You own the code and the specs. We can support and extend it from $999 a month, train your own team to build the same way, or step away. There is no lock-in because there is nothing to be locked into.
Industries we work in around Chicago
The processes are the same across industries; the vocabulary changes. These are the ones we have built for most often.
